You can access the University of Queensland (including its main campus at St Lucia and City Campus) in 20 minutes.

The Queensland University of Technology (including its Kelvin Grove Campus and Gardens Point Campus) and the Central Queensland University are 30 minutes away. Furthermore, Scape Toowong Brisbane is just walking distance from local amenities like pubs/ bars, cafes and restaurants. Instead of hanging out alone or with flatmates in your apartment every day, you can get out with them to have drinks at the Walrus Club or the Covet Bar, only to name two amongst many, a little over 5 minutes away on foot. Too tired to cook? Don’t worry, because there are ample restaurants less than 10 minutes away. You can have your fill at Tokyo Express, Two Wongs or at Stellarossa Toowong.

There is much to do in the city of Brisbane and you can easily get there in a short walk from Scape Toowong. At some point, climb the Story Bridge only to get a panoramic view of Brisbane. If you’re into art then pay a visit to the Institute of Modern Art and Queensland Art Gallery. You can shop till you drop at Fortitude Valley and James Street and follow it up with lunch at one of the best cafes and restaurants the city has to offer. Brisbane has a thriving student nightlife with Cloudland and Botanic Bars being students favourite hang outs, apart from a long list of others! The Met and Oh Hello have amazing club nights, so make sure you don’t miss out.

Those initiatives have been upgraded throughout the pandemic and we now also provide nurses and extra security in our buildings to support our students on a dedicated basis and offer extra peace of mind.
