About Halls

IQ Altus House student accommodation is one of the most in-demand properties in Leeds. The towering building stretches over 37 storeys with beautiful views of the city from the 35th storey roof terrace. The city’s excellent location allows easy access to the students studying at universities like Leeds Beckett and the University of Leeds. In fact, you can walk to any of these in under 10 minutes! The Leeds Arts University can also be reached by walking and that too, under 14 minutes.

IQ Altus House accommodation is made up of a large variety of en-suite rooms, ranging from Bronze, Silver, Gold to Platinum Ensuites, Penthouses and Studio Apartments. The rooms are tastefully designed and furnished, keeping the student lifestyle in mind. Everything from the large, spacious bathrooms to the designated study areas, complete with chairs and desks, has been added to create a homely environment for the students living at IQ Altus House. Irrespective of the type of room you choose, you will get ample storage space to put all your belongings, large, comfortable beds and access to kitchens and kitchenettes so that you can create fresh and healthy meals as and when you like!

Frequently Asked Questions

The physical safety and psychological security of the students is taken care of at the property. This is done through the use of CCTV cameras, on-site security staff and on-site teams available around the clock, 365 days a year. Secure door entry is also employed at the entrance to the property. This can only be breached if you physically open the door for someone. That is why we suggest you take special care to not allow people to tailgate you.
The property does not accept guardianship of the students under the age of 18.
The short answer is yes, as long as you meet all the prerequisites. This means that before you bring a TV, you must know whether your room has a TV point. Your TV should not be larger than 21 inches and should be able to free-stand as wall-mounted TVs are not allowed. The property provides TVs and TV licenses in the communal areas but if you want a TV in your own room, you will have to arrange for a license yourself. If you have any more questions, you can check in with the on-site team.
Yes, most sites feature dedicated bike storage areas. As long as you are a resident at the property, have registered your bike and obtained a bike tag, you will be able to bring and store your bikes at the property.

Sadly, no pets are allowed at the properties. Exceptions are made in the case of residents who require assistance. In that case, you need to have your service animal or assistance animal trained and registered. When prescribed by a mental health professional, emotional support animals are also allowed at the property.
